National Anthem

A Justice Dipak Misra bench of the Supreme Court had made playing the national anthem in cinema halls mandatory in 2016. However, Justice Dipak Misra-headed bench amended the national anthem ruling a couple of times making it optional in cinema halls.

Right To Reputation

Hearing petitions filed by politicians including Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal and Subramanian Swamy in May 2017, Justice Dipak Misra held reputation of a person could not be allowed to be crucified at the altar of the other’s right of free speech.

Justice Dipak Misra ruled, “The right to reputation is a constituent of Article 21 of the Constitution. It is an individual’s fundamental right.” The bench upheld the 156-year-old defamation

Online FIR Mandatory

Within 10 days of taking oath as the CJI, Justice Dipak Misra gave a ruling to make working of police transparent and accountable to public. The Supreme Court ordered all the states to make all FIRs online within 24 hours of its registration. The bench held that uploading the FIR online would help the affected parties to move the courts for redress with suitable pleas.

Gay Sex Not A Crime

The Supreme Court declared Section 377 of the IPC as unconstitutional. Section 377 made gay sex a criminal offence with a provision for jail term up to five years. CJI Dipak Misra held that Section 377 denied the fundamental right to choose without fear a partner and the basic right to companionship.

Adultery Not An Offence

The last week of the tenure of CJI Dipak Misra was extraordinarily eventful as a series of landmark judgments were delivered by the Supreme Court bench led by him. It began with the Supreme Court holding Section 497 of the IPC as unconstitutional.

Section 497 defined adultery a crime. But it said that it was an offence committed by a man against a married man if the former established an adulterous relationship with latter’s wife. The right to consent of the woman was vested in her husband. The Supreme Court struck down Section 497 for violating fundamental right to equal.

Aadhaar Made Conditional

In a respite to the Narendra Modi government, the Supreme Court upheld the constitutional validity of Aadhaar. A bunch of petitions had been filed challenging Aadhaar on the grounds that the collection of biometric data of the citizens violated the fundamental rights of people and gave the government an overbearing power that could be misused.

The Supreme Court held the constitutionality of Aadhaar but ruled that the UIDAI project could not be made mandatory for any social welfare scheme and availing rights. However, Justice Dipak Misra bench ruled that the government notification for mandatory Aadhaar-PAN linking was valid

This creates an intricate network of economic interaction that covers whole world.

As a learning and development professional in a tech field, you are affected every day by the demands of rapid change. To keep pace, workers at every level must be willing to adapt and learn continually. Alvin Toffler, futurist and author of the 1970 seminal book Futur Shock, went so far as to say that being unable to learn, unlearn and relearn would be the 21st century equivalent of being illiterate.

To really understand what that means, let’s try this simple exercise. Go ahead and fold your arms. Now fold them the opposite way. Most people notice a big difference in comfort, and you could say that the latter is what change feels like. In the 20th century, you could fold your arms one way for your entire career. Today, we are asked to fold, unfold and refold in a new way many times throughout our careers.

Someone who can change back and forth between arm positions might be considered flexible and adaptable. While this is critically important, it still might not be enough to bring job security in today’s fast-changing industries. To gain a competitive advantage individuals must regularly “go beyond the playbook”, often improvising with limited resources and being capable of inventing new arm positions that better suit new tasks. This is change at another level – the level of creativity and innovation.

Creativity is the ability to see new opportunities, to produce original ideas, to flexibly adapt to changing situations, and to apply one’s imagination to solve complex problems. While not everyone may have such a concrete definition, the fact remains that in report after report, creativity is shown to be rising in value among workplace skills. Most notably, the World Economic Forum published a report in 2016 showing that creativity had moved from a tenth place ranking in 2015 to the third most important work-related skill for 2020. And what is the most important skill for the workplace in 2020? Complex problem solving, a skill we would argue is enhanced by effective creative thinking.

Nature is a powerful form of therapy and healing in and of itself,and it seems that we have forgotten the restorative power that it holds and always offers with out asking for anything in return .Bringing ourselves in touch with nature given us a freedom that is missing these days,as we over rely on technology and business for entertainment and finance for food ,self – preservation and further distractions from a part of ourselves that cries out to be acknowledged the latest but ever present wild aspect of our being.
Nature’s way also has the effect of slowing us down on a positive sense.” adopt the peace of Nature ,and secret is patience”.modern life has a way of making us speedy and aggressive, hiperactive and ovet- competitive .As we rush through life,jumping from one thing to another,as if it were race to see who can collect the most experience first, we forgot that life is not a race to be truly lived only if we slow down enough to be present for it. speeding almost always comes with stress. We might ask ourselves,” Is the stress we put ourselves under actually worth it ?” At what cost are we so caught up in our endless activities that we have forgot to notice our breathing. In many way,We are lucky that our breath happens by itself because if we had to actually remember to breathe, we might be so busy that we would forgot. Nature ‘s calming effect bring us back to our breath and to our body, which can be called meditation.

South Asian Association for regional co-operation (SAARC)is an economic and political organisation. It was established in 8 December 1985 ,The saarc secretarial was established in Kathmandu on 16th Jan 1987.

Their are 8 countries in saarc Bangladesh,Bhutan,India, Maldive Napal ,Pakistan,Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.The idea of regional cooperation in South Asian was first mooted in May 1980.the foreign secretaries of 8 countries met for first time in Colombo in April 1981. This was followed by a meeting of the committee of the whole Colombo in August – september 1981, which identified 5 board areas for regional cooperation. The Integration programme of Action (IPA) initially in 5 agreed of cooperation namely Agricultural,Rural,Development,Tele Communication,Meteorology and health activities.
